vertical Events -

Summer is an event in nature's air-conditioned Cannon Beach. It's a hubbub of people-watching espresso-drinking vacationers strolling down lushly landscaped Hemlock Street in and out of people, shops and galleries in search of nothing, but usually finding something just the same. Meeting and greeting old and new friends, they pause for lunch - taking in a slice of gourmet pizza, a croissant deli sandwich, a salad, or bowl of chowder with fish & chips. Then down to the beach before a mid afternoon visit to the ice cream and candy store, capped off with a fine dining experience and a sunset stroll - and all the while the shutters are clicking in hopes of capturing the perfect vacation forever. Welcome to Cannon Beach .. George Vetter
